Walk By The Spirit

GALATIANS 5:16-26

Paul presents a compelling case for the sufficiency of the Spirit in the face of divisiveness. When we — by faith — actively keep in step with the Holy Spirit, we inevitably produce the fruit of the Spirit. In other words, we are empowered by God to crucify the flesh and exude love towards others. In fact, when we are Spirit-filled, Paul leaves us with an entire “fruit basket” of examples for how our lives will be transformed by the Spirit’s inexhaustible power.
