If you’re a Christ follower, baptism is a symbolic expression of loyalty to Jesus that signifies your inclusion into God’s family. It’s an opportunity to publicly announce, “I am not ashamed to be a child of God!” If you are interested in getting baptized or simply want to learn more about baptism, join us as we discuss its meaning and significance to the Christian faith. Going through the formality of local church membership is a way to express that WRCC is your church and you desire to be shepherded. This enables the elders, deacons, and staff to provide better pastoral care, pursue unity, and stir one another up toward love and good deeds. We’ll cover our statement of faith, church governance, opportunities for service, and how to place membership. Lunch is provided.
