We want to share God’s love with others within WRCC and out in our community. Volunteering is one of the best ways to connect with others and make a real impact toward our vision of becoming a life-changing community, passionately pursuing Christ. Below are the different opportunities available in Outreach Ministry, please note that some require registration.
Our Food Pantry continues to be a blessing to our community, and you can play an ongoing role in this vital ministry. We accept donations M-Th 9am-4pm and on Sunday mornings.
Suggested donations: gluten-free & dairy-free products, low-salt & no-salt products, baby formula, diapers, personal hygiene products, and household cleaning products.
1st, 3rd, 5th Tuesdays | 5-6pm | Audience: Everyone
Our Free Food Store ministry depends on volunteers who help prepare and organize the shopping and storage areas each week. Whether you have 15 minutes or a full hour to give, we’d love to have you join us! If you plan to volunteer, please email Raul at rperezdiaz@windsorroad.org one day in advance.
1st & 3rd Thursdays | 10:30-12pm | Audience: Adults
Twice each month, we receive hundreds of pounds of food that need to be unloaded, organized, and stocked. If you’re able to help carry boxes, arrange shelves, or lend a hand with deliveries, we’d love for you to serve alongside us!
Thursdays | 2:30-6:30pm | Audience: Everyone
Our Free Food Store is open to shoppers from our congregation and the community every Thursday from 4-6pm, please consider serving during one of three shifts.
1st Saturdays | 11am-3pm | Audience: Everyone
Members of our congregation and community will have the opportunity to shop for needed items through our Free Food Store from 12–2pm. To make 1st Saturday Shopping possible, we need at least 15 adult volunteers signed up for each shift to help serve our guests. Join us in creating a welcoming and helpful experience for our shoppers!
11am-1pm – prayer, set-up, assist shoppers
1-3pm – assist shoppers, clean-up, prayer
Email Cathy at chong@windsorroad.org to get added to our volunteer list, then you’ll be able to sign up to serve in our WRCC app.
