Lament: A Sacred Sorrow

Wednesdays, Jan 7-Feb 11 | 6:30-8pm | Adults  Rm 110 | Led by: Lisan Smith

In this study, based upon Michael Card's book, A  Sacred Sorrow,  we will examine the ancient practice  of lament, which teaches us to turn to God in our  pain, express our complaints, ask for mercy, and  trust His character. Mark Vroegop writes, "Lament is  how we live between the poles of a hard life and  trusting in God's sovereignty." Join us as we  consider lament in the Scriptures and how it deepens our connection to our God of mercy.
