When Jesus Doesn’t Fit the Script—Trust Him Anyway

Matthew 11:2-15

As he sat in prison, awaiting likely execution, he was afflicted with profound doubt about Jesus, questioning if He was truly "the one." How do we respond when it feels like God has left us and Satan has taken His place? What do we do when it feels like we might have been wrong about our faith? And how do we stay anchored in the midst of a terrible storm? We will learn how Jesus sent a powerful promise to sustain John’s faith, and He will do the same for us. We will see that having doubts does not mean the end of faith; rather, it is an opportunity to cling more tightly to the trustworthy character of Christ.
