Easter

at WRCC

Behold the empty tomb.

Join your WRCC church family as we celebrate Holy Week. This is a time to remember the final days of Jesus’ life, his crucifixion, and resurrection.
The empty tomb on Sunday represents the triumph of life over death and the promise of eternal life.

Palm Sunday Service

Sunday, March 29th | 9am & 10:45am

Palm Sunday is an important part of the Lenten season. It's the day we wave palm branches and sing about the victory we have in Christ! We recall how the people of Israel did the same when Jesus came riding into Jerusalem on a donkey's colt. It's the day we remember that he is our victorious and coming King, though not in the way God's people expected. Celebrate with us that we have a Savior and King who will one day return!

Holy Week Experience

Wednesday, April 1st | 6-8pm

Take time to join us and learn about Holy Week and how we can all live in a way that honors the sacrifice Christ made for us. This self-guided tour will walk you through several different experiences that Christ had before he was crucified. Encounters will include scripture to read together, some hands-on activities, and a time to talk and pray about what you’ve learned.

Please note, this is not a drop-off event, kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Good Friday Service

Friday, April 3rd | 7-8pm

This solemn holy day commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, the perfect sacrifice that atoned for the sins of all humanity. As we gather to worship and hear from God’s Word, let us also reflect on our own lives, turn away from sin, and embrace the gift of salvation that came at such a cost.

This somber service is open to all ages.

Easter Sunday Services

Sunday, April 5th | 9am & 10:45am

On this final day of Holy Week, we celebrate the bodily resurrection of Christ and the hope for salvation and eternal life through him. We’ll rejoice with singing and hearing the Good News from the Word that death did not defeat our Redeemer. He has conquered death, hell, and the grave for us!

Bring your friends and family and join us on this joyous day because Christ is Risen indeed!
