SMALL GROUPS

 WHAT are small groups?

Small groups are the heart of what we do at Windsor Road. For us, doing life together is far more than a catchphrase; it’s a biblical conviction. We believe that God never meant for us to do life alone. We were created to walk with each other, to grow with one another, and to glorify God together.

This is why our Small Groups are places where people of all stages of life and backgrounds can come together and be real. We’re all just imperfect people, trying to love a perfect God.  You don’t have to make the journey of faith alone.  We invite you to find out just how better life can be in a Small Group.

HOW DO I JOIN A small group?

Whether you’re new to this small group thing or have been part of a group in the past, we want to help you on your way.  We’ve made joining a group as easy and painless as possible. You can:

SEARCH ONLINE:  Browse open small groups. You'll be able to read group descriptions, see where, when, and how often they meet, and contact the leader to find out about joining. We are using a new system. If you don’t hear anything in a week, please let us know.

REQUEST HELP:  Can’t find what you are looking for? Let us help you make an introduction. Just click the link below and we’ll get back to you with some Small Group options and we’ll help you make a connection.

We offer something for everyone. Groups meet all over Champaign County, on different nights, consist of different age groups, and have their own flavors. Regardless of your stage of life or where you live we have a spot in a Small Group reserved just for you!

Small Groups Leader - Connect

Twice a year the Windsor Road Discipleship Ministry schedules an opportunity for all Small Group Leaders to gather together, share a meal, fellowship, and be blessed by leadership lessons.  This time is used to encourage each other as victories are shared.  Also, during this time support is given as struggles are discussed and fellow leaders listen.  Our groups are made up of real people, with real problems and as leaders we need to regularly be equipped, resourced, and recharged to serve our groups well. Meal and Childcare provided FREE of charge.
