Matthew 19:30 – 20:16

GOD NEVER SKIMPS ON GRACE. Randy’s sermon is from Matthew 20:1-16, “The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard.” It’s a law-shattering parable that informs us of God’s unobligated grace to whoever He chooses. Jesus teaches that God’s generosity is according to His flawless thinking, not any human reckoning. Questions from this parable include: Why is goodness often the occasion for jealousy? Why do we find it so difficult to rejoice over the good that enters other people’s lives, and why do we spend our time calculating how we have been cheated?
