Acts 16

It would be difficult to conceive of a more dissimilar group than a business woman, a slave girl, and a prison warden. They were racially, socially and psychologically worlds apart. Yet all three were changed by the same gospel and welcomed into the same church. What is most surprising is that these three persons were the very opposite of what a Jewish male like St. Paul would have been. Yet these three, now united with Paul as brothers and sisters, became the new foundation of the new Philippian church! This is what the Gospel does! It transforms enemies into heirs and heirs into siblings! God be praised! Do it again, Lord!
