Zechariah 3

Who do I think I am? I have nothing worthwhile to offer. Why waste everyone’s time? Why even try? Especially with my past. Have you ever heard those words? Have you ever said those words to yourself? Such is the voice of shame—that nagging voice that leaves you belittled, paralyzed, and defeated. It’s a voice that says we’re not enough. Shame is painful, crippling, and life-consuming. What are we to do?

This Sunday Randy continues our series over Satan’s lies. We’ll study Zechariah 3, where Satan accused God’s people for their sinful past. We’ll hear his indictments, but also hear God’s response. Above all, we’ll learn that Christ our Advocate triumphs over the accusations of the evil one. Jesus defeats shame! Grace, not shame, is the last word!
