Philippians 1:9-11
Few of Paul’s prayers hold greater potential to help us answer this question than what we read in Philippians 1:9-11. It’s a short, simple prayer. It’s a prayer that always in season. There’s never an inappropriate time to pray for one another that God grant (1) more love leading to discernment, (2) more discernment leading to what is outstanding, and (3) more overflowing fullness of Jesus’s own righteousness. All to the glory of God! We pray, not to get more stuff from God, but to get more of God!
