Philippians 4:21-23
YOU MATTER! You matter to God and you matter to God’s people! The apostle Paul gives final greetings to this beloved congregation. Three times, Paul uses the word for GREET. It’s more than a gesture of courtesy. It’s an acknowledgement: We see you. We respect you. We care about you. We bless you. You matter. After treasuring Jesus, treasuring people are what matters most to Paul. He starts his letter with grace to you and concludes with grace be with you. These three verses remind us to let no unspoken words of love exist between ourselves. Our lives are completely Christ-centered, beginning and ending with grace through Christ. Thanks be to God!
