BIBLE COLLECTION
January | The Foyer
God is on the move in Champaign-Urbana and around the world. In 2022, our church donated over 1,100 Bibles to ministry partners. They reached people in our community, all over the United States, and even in South Africa! We are excited to continue to support our ministry partners with Bibles in 2023. To do so, we are dedicating the month of January to collecting new and gently used Bibles in any translation. Bring them to the Outreach table in The Foyer all month.

Food pantry service night
Thursdays, Jan 19, Feb 16, Mar 16, Apr 20 | 6:30-8pm | WRCC Food Pantry | Audience: Adults & Families
Join us the 3rd Thursday of each month, as this is an easy way to start helping with our Food Pantry. Volunteers will organize and sort food, fill bags, or help with other ministry-related tasks that keep our Food Pantry running smoothly. No sign up is necessary but to help us plan tasks, please email Laura.
First Saturday service
This Spring, we will continue to offer a church-wide serving opportunity on the first Saturday of each month. We will have three available for you to choose from, and you can do the same one each time or try a different one each month. Each experience will train and equip us as a church family (adults and children) to serve together in simple, yet impactful ways.
As we continue to serve our community together, we fully expect God to open doors to pray for people and organizations, share the gospel with non-believers, and empower believers with timely encouragement. We also expect God to increase our own faith and boldness to step out and do things for Him in our everyday lives.

One winter night
Friday, February 3rd – Saturday, February 4th
One Winter Night is an annual event that provides a powerful opportunity for our community to learn about homelessness and raise awareness of both the needs and the resources available to this population. In addition to being a box dweller to raise funds for CU at Home, there will be other ways to be involved throughout the community, more info is available at cuathome.us. If you’d like to be a box/car dweller or attend their fundraising concert with other WRCCers, email Michelle.
