Whether it's quiet contemplation, rock the house praise, or Biblical preaching, worship at Windsor Road helps people connect with God. Twice each Sunday, hundreds of individuals of all ages and at all places in their spiritual walks find a place to raise their voices together, hear a challenge from God's word, celebrate, pray, give and serve together as a community. Every week it's something just a little bit different as our Worship Team brings great together creativity from the arts and the Word to bring us closer to God.

Opportunities abound in the Worship Ministry for individuals to use their gifts to bring praise to our great God. Vocal and instrumental teams, sound, lights and video support teams, ushers, servers and communion prep teams give almost everyone a chance to be a part of this foundational ministry.
Vocal and Instrumental Teams
At Windsor Road, vocal teams help lead Sunday morning worship from the platform. In order to maintain a high level of personal, spiritual and vocal integrity, vocal teams are chosen from periodic auditions. Team members are expected to memorize words and music for the Sundays they lead, and practice on Thursday evenings for 2 - 3 hours. Another walk-through early Sunday morning helps create a high level of excellence. Due to their intense times together, vocal teams become tight-knit groups who regularly pray for and help each other.
Choir
From time to time choirs are formed to lead worship and sing special music. Such is the case in October. If you are interested in being in the choir for the services on October, 26th, please contact Kati via e-mail or by calling the church office, 359.2122.
Instrumental Teams
The instruments used in worship at Windsor Road are numerous and varied. From guitars to drums, violin to trumpets, the goal is to put together a blend each week that maximizes our praise and worship. Instrumentalists are auditioned and rehearse on Thursday evenings with the vocal teams. Sunday morning they also participate in the early walk-through and play for both worship hours. Our instrumentalists range from 60's rockers to modern jazz musicians. Whatever the style or the era, instrumental teams help show the way to praise.
Tech Support Teams
Lights! Camera! Sound! Action! Without these words, worship at Windsor Road just wouldn't be the same. Each week our tech support teams make sure praise music is balanced and that a Biblical message is both hearable and understandable. These teams also help enhance our worship through video and computer generated visuals.
Communion and Ushers
In every church there are those servants who have important roles not many are aware of. At Windsor Road, our communion prep teams, servers and ushers are those people. Each week they serve faithfully, taking care of a myriad of detail such as seeing that each person receives a bulletin, that tens of communion trays are ready, that communion is offered to each worshipper, and that every person is able to find a seat.
