Depending on whose stats you believe, somewhere around 65-85% of our church kids will walk away from their faith when they get to college. Whether that's true or not, it's obvious that we have our work cut out for us in Student Life.

We do our best to challenge, inspire, teach, prepare, mold, shape, and love our students. Be we believe the key to overcoming that depressing statistic will be getting students involved in service now.

We believe that if we teach them to serve and lead while they're still with us, then when they go away to college, rather than looking for another place to be entertained when it's convenient, they'll seek out positions of leadership and service.

That's exactly why we're putting a very strong emphasis on our ministry teams this year.
