Challenge 1: Pray for the entire world.
Operation World is a great resource for prayer information about every country in the world. You can sign up at the Operation World website to have prayer prompts delivered to your e-mail inbox each morning. Sign up today!

Challenge 2: Read through the entire Word
There are several website with "read through the Bible" plans--some will even e-mail the daily readings to you or sync with your mobile device. We've listed several here for you to peruse and begin today!

Challenge 3: Sacrifice my money for a specific purpose
There are two parts to this challenge. The first is to decide what money you will sacrifice. Work to set a cap on your lifestyle so that you can free up as much of your resources as possible for the sake of the glory of Christ in His church, among the lost, and among the poor.

The second is to intentionally look for opportunities to share your resources. Be creative! Look for opportunites to partner with families in need, pay for the person behind you in line at the store, find needs present in your church community and meet them! If you need some ideas of organizations to work with here in our community, we've listed some below:
• Salt & Light Ministries: local outreach to the under-resourced
• Empty Tomb: local outreach to the under-resourced
• Restortion Urban Ministries: local outreach to the homeless
• TIMES Center: local outreach to homeless men
• The Center for Women in Transition: local outreach to disadvantaged women and their children

Challenge 5: Spend time in another context
Going on a Mission Trip is sure to change your life. As you pray for God's guidance on where He wants you to spend your time in another context, we'd like to invite you to consider one of the Mission Trips WRCC sends out each summer. We currently have four trips planned for next summer:
• Dominican Republic
• El Paso, Texas
• Ethiopia
• Peru

Challenge 5: Commit my life to a multiplying community
God has chosen the Church as His vehicle for extending salvation to the world. There is no better place to experience community and be a part of spreading the Gospel than in the church community. The best way we know to get this kind of community is by joining small group. If you're not in a small group, sign up today.
