Insight Classes
in-sight [in-sayht] -noun
   1. The capacity to discern the true nature of a situation

Why do we have Insight classes?
Our desire is to help you value Jesus Christ as the greatest treasure in your life. Sometimes it takes just a little interaction with others and with a teacher to spur you on as you grow in your relationship with God. One of these classes just might give you the extra motivation to take that next step in your understanding, in your application of truth, and in your life.

Take a look at the list of classes offered this semester. Our hope is that one of them will meet you where you have a need.

Pick one, register at online or call the church office at 359-2122, and then join others who are also learning and growing together.

Covenant: God's Enduring Promises
God loves you. Unconditionally. Unshakably. Unfailingly. And it's all because of His covenant--a thread woven through everything He says and everything He does.

Believing what God says about covenant will absolutely transform your life. Promises made are kept. Relationships last a lifetime. Trust and commitment are honored by action.

What makes covenant so powerful? Kay Arthur is eager to show you. She'll guide you in exploring the benefits and responsibilities of covenant as well as the character of the covenant initiator. Learn about the remarkable ways the old covenant points to the promises of the new covenant and discover the covenants made for our well-being--the covenants God made for you. Childcare for the two Wednesday classes is available for small fee. Class is open to men, women and teens. The cost for book is $25. Sign-up online or by calling the church office, 359.2122.

Changes That Heal
The past always affects the present and our ability to have healthy relationships and live up to our God-given potential. In this study of Changes That Heal by Henry Cloud, we will look at the areas of bonding, separating from others, making sense of the good and bad in life and adulthood and how those relate to growing into the people God wants us to be. If depression, anxiety, or general dissatisfaction with your life or relationships has been part of your experience, you will find this group study helpful.
• Sunday, June 3-July 29, 10:45am, (Room 109) taught by Jenn Aardsma
• The book for this class is FREE as its cost has been covered by an anonymous donor
• Sign-up online or by calling the church office, 359.2122.

Forgiven and Set Free (Post-Abortion Recovery)
Are you one of the walking wounded, carrying around the secret of an abortion in your past that haunts you still today? God’s desire is for you to walk in freedom. We lovingly urge you to join this small Bible study group that will allow you to surrender the secret and face your memories in a safe place with other women who understand. Experience what others have after completing the study. “After years of suppressing these feelings it was very liberating, healing and beneficial to my emotional health.” “It showed me the way to forgiveness after many years of punishing myself.”

Mary Hubbard is a gentle and loving woman who has walked this path and has dedicated her life to helping others experience healing. Please contact Mary with your questions and to confidentially sign up for the class. Call the church office, 217.359.2122, if you would like to get her phone number.
•Thursday, June 7-August 30, 6-7:30pm (Rm 109)
• Led by Mary Hubbard
• The cost for book is $12

When Godly People Do Ungodly Things--Beth Moore
In this biblical guide to authentic repentance and restoration Beth examines why devoted followers of Jesus Christ can fall into the traps of Satan. Believers are still subject to Satan's attacks. He is determined to disrupt the lives of Christians, destroy their ministry, and steal their joy. Sadly, those who have "fallen" may not recognize the devil's schemes until they have already been caught in a snare of defeat. This study will serve as a warning to believers, show you how to prepare for attacks by the Enemy and help those who have been snared by seduction and compassionately point the way back to God. (Sorry Gentlemen, this class is for women only.)
Sundays, April 1-May 20, 9-10:30 a.m. (Room 110)
• Led by Brenda Tennill
